During my tenure on City Council, including as Council President, I've consistently brought diverse voices to the table, fearlessly delving into complex issues such as affordable housing, homelessness, healthcare, major transportation projects, and economic development. As Director of the Kitsap History Museum, I intimately understand our county's journey and our shared values and priorities, and first-hand have dealt with the challenges facing small business. My background as a NASA Ph.D. Scientist provides me with a forward-thinking vision for the future, envisioning a resilient Kitsap in the 21st century. And as a seasoned Professional Project Manager, I possess the expertise to turn vision into action.

Being a father and husband has been the most fulfilling role in my life, and I feel fortunate every day to call Kitsap home.
Just like any family, I believe our community thrives when we come together and collaborate. I recognize the unique opportunity a county commissioner has to facilitate cooperation among our cities and towns, nonprofit organizations, public agencies, and private businesses, all with the aim of delivering the best possible services to our citizens at the most efficient cost.
